For more than 20 years, Bill Janovitz has been the guitarist and one of the singer/songwriters in the band Buffalo Tom. Formed at University of Massachusetts and long identified with Boston, this internationally renowned recording and touring trio will be releasing their first collection of new material since 1998. the CD will be called Three Easy Pieces and is currently slated for release on New West/Ammal Records in July 2007.
On Broadway marks Bill's first film scoring work, but he has also created music for television shows such as Yes Dear on CBS, theme music for Red Sox Baseball on the Red Sox Radio Network; and theatrical scores for productions Searching for Certainty in Los Angeles and Here Comes a Regular in Chicago.
Bill is married to Laura St. Clair and they live in Lexington with their two children, Lucy and Will.
